ABOUT

A Legacy That Lives On Through Every Life We Reach.

A Legacy of Hope. a mission to save lives.

See & Say was born from unimaginable loss and a determination to create meaningful change. Inspired by Cade’s life and legacy, our mission is to empower people to recognize the warning signs of suicide, start conversations that matter, and speak up when someone may be struggling. Because sometimes, saying something can save a life.

Cade's story
The Story Behind See & Say

Cade was a son, a friend, and a young man whose life left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. After losing Cade to suicide, his parents were faced with a loss no family should have to endure. In the midst of their grief, they began asking difficult questions—questions about warning signs, conversations, awareness, and what might be possible if more people felt equipped and empowered to speak up. Those questions became the foundation of See & Say. What began as a way to honor Cade’s life has grown into a mission focused on suicide prevention, education, advocacy, and action. Through community events, QPR training, scholarships, partnerships, and initiatives inspired by Cade’s passions, See & Say is working to create a future where more people recognize the signs and have the courage to say something. Cade’s story is at the heart of everything we do, but his legacy is about more than remembering the life that was lost. It is about the lives that can still be reached.

In Their Own words

See & Say was born from unimaginable loss and a determination to create meaningful change. Inspired by Cade’s life and legacy, our mission is to empower people to recognize the warning signs of suicide, start conversations that matter, and speak up when someone may be struggling. Because sometimes, saying something can save a life.

Turning Pain Into purpose

See & Say exists because silence should never stand in the way of someone receiving help.

We believe that suicide prevention begins long before a moment of crisis. It begins when people know what signs to look for. When friends feel confident asking difficult questions. When parents and educators know how to respond. And when communities create environments where speaking up is encouraged.

That belief drives everything we do.

Through QPR suicide prevention training, community outreach, scholarships, advocacy, and partnerships, See & Say is helping equip everyday people with the knowledge and confidence to make a difference.

Because you don’t have to be a mental health professional to start a conversation that could change—or save—a life.

More Than a Story.
a growing movement.

Every person who attends a training, receives a scholarship, participates in an event, or learns to recognize the warning signs becomes part of Cade’s legacy. Today, See & Say continues to grow through the support of families, educators, businesses, veterans, community organizations, and people who believe in the power of speaking up. Together, we are working toward a future where more people feel seen, more conversations happen before it’s too late, and no one is afraid to say something when someone they care about may be struggling.
